Girls Gone Local was founded in 2010 by a group of fun-loving, dynamic professional women with a shared goal: to make Toronto a more equitable, inclusive, and joyful place.

Our grassroots, not-for-profit aims to inspire and empower community involvement by making it easy and enjoyable for people to give back—no matter the financial or time commitment. Through various city-based projects, we mobilize volunteers to create meaningful and lasting change.
