Since 2010, GGL has been a grassroots not-for-profit organization focused on helping local families in Toronto, Canada.

During the holiday season, our FUNdraising efforts ramp up to help the increasing number of families hit hard by economic strain. Girls Gone Local FUNdraises to ensure holiday season magic is brought to those who need it most. The recipients are (anonymously and respectfully) suggested by the Toronto District School Board staff or social workers.

Donations enable us to purchase quality Christmas or holiday season gifts which we thoughtfully choose and meticulously wrap, brand-new winter clothing and other items on the family’s wish list. To enhance our holiday program, last year we launched a Toy Drive for new, unwrapped gifts. The more money we raise, the more families we can help, whether it’s $20 or $200, your generosity makes a lasting impact.
